Fermenté
Brown rice bran
Oryza sativa bran · 쌀겨 (Ssalkkyeo)
The outer layer of the brown rice grain — the richest part of the grain, which is removed to produce white rice. The bran contains 80% of the grain's nutrients: phytosterols, gamma-oryzanol, vitamin E, ferulic acid, polysaccharides. It is a standalone 'natural anti-aging' ingredient, distinct from traditional fermented rice.
Type de peau
Mature, dull skin, loss of elasticity. Suitable for all skin types.
Concentration
Recommended concentration: 0.5 to 3% of extract standardized in gamma-oryzanol.

Comment ça agit, scientifiquement
Gamma-oryzanol is an antioxidant unique to rice bran, capable of neutralizing free radicals in the skin's lipid layer. Ferulic acid stabilizes vitamin C in formulation. Phytosterols support the skin barrier and modulate chronic inflammation.
Tradition coréenne
Histoire et usage ancestral
Rice bran was long a despised by-product — given to animals. The women of the Korean countryside had noticed that the hands of workers milling rice were particularly soft. Bran used as a gentle scrub is a Joseon tradition recently rediscovered by scientific cosmetics.
