Niacinamide
Niacinamide (Vitamine B3) · 나이아신아마이드
The amide form of vitamin B3, one of the best-studied actives in global cosmetics and a pillar of K-beauty. Compatible with virtually every other active, low-irritating, versatile: sebum regulation, brightening, barrier reinforcement, anti-redness.
01 · Type de peau
All skin types, particularly combination/oily skin, enlarged pores, spots, sensitive skin.
02 · Concentration efficace
Effective concentration: 2 to 10%. Above 10%, risk of a flush effect (transient redness).
03 · Compatibilité
Very versatile: compatible with retinol, vitamin C (the opposite myth has been disproven by recent studies), peptides, hyaluronic acid, moderate AHA/BHA.

Mécanisme
Action moléculaire
Niacinamide is a precursor of NAD+ and NADP+ — two coenzymes essential to the energy metabolism of keratinocytes. It inhibits the transfer of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes (brightening). It stimulates the production of filaggrin, ceramides and fatty acids (barrier).
Origine et tradition
Du palais aux laboratoires
Identified as a vitamin in 1937. Studied in cosmetics since the 1970s. K-beauty democratized it in the 2010s by formulating it at effective concentrations (5 to 10%) — now a global standard.
