Le mécanisme
Ginsenosides Rg1, Rb1 and Rh2 activate the synthesis of procollagen by dermal fibroblasts. Panaxynol stimulates local vasodilation, explaining the 'restored light' effect from just a few applications. Long-term, ginseng also modulates the SIRT1 pathway — the cellular longevity pathway — hence its anti-aging reputation.
Tradition ancestrale
Since the Goryeo dynasty (918-1392), red ginseng was a tribute sent to the Chinese emperor. Under Joseon, it became the royal currency of exchange and the king's beverage. Korean ginseng has remained the most prestigious in the world — it now enjoys a protected designation of origin. Queens drank a morning decoction and applied the extract to their face in the evening.
