Le mécanisme
Ginkgolides A and B inhibit platelet aggregation and stimulate local vasodilation (better oxygenated skin). The flavonoids (kaempferol, quercetin) are free-radical scavengers. Combined action: denser, more dynamic skin, better nourished from within.
Tradition ancestrale
Ginkgo has been in Korean temple gardens for 1,000 years — a symbol of longevity. Its seeds are roasted and consumed for longevity. In traditional cosmetics, the leaf cooking water was applied as a compress on vascular dark circles.
