Fiche scientifique · Animal
Snail mucin
Snail secretion filtrate · 달팽이 점액 (Dalpaeng-i jeomaek)
One of the most studied actives of recent K-beauty. The filtered secretion of snails — harvested ethically without harming the animal — contains a unique cocktail: allantoin, natural glycolic acid, glycoproteins, snail collagen, elastin and copper peptides. Exceptional regeneration, particularly on scars and acne marks.
01 · Type de peau
Skin with acne scars, marks, mature, sensitized, tired skin.
02 · Concentration efficace
Recommended concentration: 1 to 80% (typical ultra-concentrated essence).
03 · Compatibilité
Pairs very well with: centella, niacinamide, peptides, hyaluronic acid. Avoid with: strong acids on the same evening.

Action moléculaire
Allantoin stimulates cell division. Natural glycolic acid (at low concentration) gently exfoliates. Copper peptides activate the synthesis of collagen and elastin. Glycoproteins form a bioactive film on the skin.
Origine et tradition
Du palais aux laboratoires
Korean and Chilean farmers had noticed for centuries that workers harvesting snails had exceptionally soft hands. K-beauty turned it into a leading cosmetic ingredient in the 2010s — since then adopted by the entire global industry.
