The Asian silver mushroom, nicknamed 'plant hyaluronic': its polysaccharides hold 500 times their weight in water, with molecules smaller than synthetic hyaluronic acid. Superior stratum corneum penetration, immediate plumping effect. Used by Sulwhasoo and Some By Mi.

Tremella polysaccharides (glucuronoxylomannan) have a molecular mass lower than synthetic hyaluronic but a water retention capacity 5× greater. They penetrate as far as the superficial dermis, where they stimulate fibroblasts.

Histoire et usage ancestral
Consumed in China for 2,000 years as the 'longevity mushroom'. Wu Zetian (Tang empress) consumed it daily. Its scientific cosmetic use began in the 2010s in Korea and Japan.
