Each peptide has its own mode of action: 'signal' peptides (Matrixyl, palmitoyl-pentapeptide) activate collagen synthesis. 'Neurotransmitter inhibitor' peptides (Argireline) partially block muscle contractions. Copper peptides activate healing.
